Hey everybody!
First of all i want to say that I'm really happy to see that today there are already 170 "fans" from 20 different countries on facebook that are interested in "our adventure GORE-TEX® Transalpine Run 2010". Thanks a lot!!
Keep on following the GORE-TEX® Merchis.
I'm definitely still following my goal this year in September. It's amazing how often I'm thinking about the upcoming pain in September. :) Seriously, it's so good to have a goal again. We also decided on purpose to make it public, for example with this blog, that we 4 stupid men really want to this race. Now we just can't hide. And that is really good how it is.
So I can't hide the trainingless last week either. After the Heidelberg marathon i had to go back to Bayreuth very quickly to finish some important things for university. I just didn't really leave my desk (instead of a historical night in Ergersheim, but that is another story... :D).
But since Monday night my head is relaxed again, I enjoy sleeping and training again!
A 62 min run with Fabian and Georg was a very good start on tuesday, I also got to know a new track here in Bayreuth (thanks Fabi!).
Yesterday I did 10 quick 80 sec runs in the "Studentenwald" with 120 sec breaks. Afterwards I felt tired, but as always after quick and intensive units, you just know what you did! :) Well, you know what I mean...
Today is a relaxing rainy day, tomorrow I some calm 80 min are planned.
On Sunday I will run a "training" half marathon, this time a flat one. Well I can' expect anything, but it's nice to run in your own city, participating in the Maisel's Fun Run.
I'm sure a nice STEREO TOTAL concert with friends in Nürnberg on Saturday gets me motivated a lot. :)
By the way: If someone of you is looking for a nice internship, check this out: in the organisation of the Frankfurt Marathon! For further information you can also write me on facebook.
Keep on running!
David
